Rapid Sussex Care is an established home care and complex care provider supporting adults across Sussex to live safely, comfortably and as independently as possible in their own homes.
We believe that receiving care should never mean losing independence, choice or control. Our approach is built around the individual, with support designed around each person’s health needs, lifestyle, routines, preferences and personal goals.
From everyday home care to more complex packages of support, our aim is simple: to provide safe, compassionate and reliable care that makes a genuine difference to people’s lives.
Nurse-Led Complex Care
Alongside our home care services, we provide nurse-led complex care for people with more advanced or specialist healthcare needs.
Our nursing team provides clinical oversight and works closely with our care teams to ensure that complex packages are delivered safely and consistently.
Depending on an individual’s assessed needs and agreed care plan, our experienced teams can support people requiring care associated with areas such as PEG feeding, stoma care, catheter care, wound care, oxygen therapy, end-of-life care and other complex health needs.
We recognise that complex care is about much more than completing clinical tasks. It is about understanding the whole person and enabling them to continue living a meaningful life at home.
Person-Centred Care
No two people are the same, and neither are their care needs.
Before care begins, we take time to understand the individual, including their routines, abilities, preferences, communication needs and what is important to them.
Care plans are personalised and reviewed as circumstances change. We encourage individuals and their families to be actively involved in decisions about their care.
Our goal is to provide the right level of support without taking away independence.
Experienced and Trained Care Teams
The quality of our service depends on the people providing it.
Our carers receive ongoing training and development to help them provide safe, confident and compassionate support. Where a package involves complex clinical needs, appropriate competency assessments and clinical oversight are incorporated into the service.

Where appropriate, we work collaboratively with individuals, families, nurses, GPs, therapists, social workers, commissioners and other healthcare professionals.

Supporting People Across Sussex
Rapid Sussex Care works with individuals and families as well as health and social care professionals across Sussex.
We provide care through a range of funding arrangements, including privately arranged care, local-authority commissioned support and NHS-funded care, depending on eligibility and individual circumstances.
Whether somebody requires regular home visits, support following a change in their health, or a more intensive complex-care package, our team works to create a service around the person rather than expecting the person to fit around the service.
Quality and Governance
Providing safe care requires strong systems behind the people delivering it.
Our management and nursing teams oversee care quality, staff competency, risk management, care planning and service reviews. We continually monitor the quality of the support we provide and use feedback from the people we support, families and professionals to improve our services.
